MAGICAL FLORA
2011
The À LOUER project, organized by UMA - La Maison de l’image et de la photographie, was a transformative initiative to revitalize Montreal neighbourhoods with vacant storefronts and commercial spaces. By offering these spaces to artists for public exhibitions, the project aimed to turn these vacant spaces into vibrant cultural hubs, enhancing community morale and connecting citizens with the work of local artists. As part of this project, I was invited to create a public installation on the marquee of a former theatre on Notre Dame Street in the southwest neighbourhood of St-Henri.
